Viking Properties is looking for a Bookkeeper / Office Assistant to join our growing Real-estate Development Operation.

This position will work with a small team and will have a broad range of bookkeeping duties: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance and payroll. There will also be some office assistance to scan documents, electronic filing, and other tasks.

To thrive in this role, you will require: 

  • Post-secondary education in business, administration or accounting preferred.
  • QuickBooks Online experience preferred but not necessary
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt as the company grows

Who are we?

In 2003, A group of successful Norwegian businessmen who had adopted the Victoria Area as their home, banded together to launch Pacific Coast Land Company. Their goal was to build high quality, multi-unit rental housing and owner-occupied developments. Through their unique entrepreneurial background and their expertise in quality craftsmanship, they have developed many areas in Greater Victoria and have recently shifted focus primarily to the Westshore, doing so under the new Viking Properties moniker.

Viking Properties specializes in boutique developments in the Westshore communities of Langford and View Royal. We have 25 properties under management and plan to build a new development for sale every two years.
